What happened
On June 25, 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that Shield Line was recalling MedPride Baby Oil bottles because the packaging does not meet mandatory child-resistant standards, creating a risk of serious injury or death from child poisoning. The product is sold in a clear bottle with a pink cap and white-and-pink labeling bearing the MedPride logo. This recall (CPSC Recall #26577) was issued under mandatory child-resistant packaging requirements.
