What happened

The FDA classified two recalls as Class I for Medline Industries convenience kits (including Total Joint Kit, Total Knee Basic, and Hip CDS-LF products) that contain Bupivacaine Hydrochloride in Dextrose Injection, USP, supplied through B. Braun Medical and ICU Medical pain management components. The recalls stem from quality issues traced to supplier Spectra Medical Devices and manufacturer Huons Co, Ltd., which could result in drug ineffectiveness.
