What happened

A federal judge in South Carolina denied a motion asking him to reconsider his earlier partial denial of a joint request to remand nine water utility lawsuits in the AFFF multidistrict litigation back to state court, according to Mealey's. The utilities had accused DuPont de Nemours Inc. and EIDP Inc., among others, of PFAS contamination.
