Leadership Counsel announced a settlement with the Pfizer defendants of a majority of the claims in the MDL and New York state court over Depo-Provera meningioma claims (Case Management Order No. 12, filed July 27, 2026). Financial terms NOT disclosed; eligibility and compensation amounts not released; deal pending finalization at the time (Case Management Order No. 14, filed Aug. 10, 2026, later described a settlement agreement dated July 22, 2026 and states no compensation amounts). The JPML reported 5,830 actions pending in MDL 3140 on July 1, 2026 and 6,412 on October 1, 2026.
