What happened
On June 15, 2026, U.S. District Judge M. Casey Rodgers entered an order noting that Pfizer had reached an agreement in principle with plaintiffs' leadership in MDL 3140 to resolve the federal Depo-Provera meningioma claims. At the time, the agreement was not final and no compensation terms had been disclosed; Pfizer stated it includes no admission of liability and does not affect cases pending in state courts. The court then vacated upcoming bellwether trial deadlines. Case Management Order No. 14 (filed August 10, 2026) later described a settlement program memorialized in an agreement dated July 22, 2026; it states no compensation amounts.
