Arkansas enacted a temporary lookback window in February 2022 that allowed historical childhood sexual abuse claims to be filed regardless of when the abuse occurred. That window closed in January 2024. Survivors who did not file during the window period should consult an attorney immediately — some may still have options under the discovery rule or other tolling arguments depending on when they first connected their abuse to their documented injuries.
