What is the deadline in Minnesota?

Minnesota allows 6 years for negligence personal-injury claims (Minn. Stat. § 541.05, subd. 1(5)), 2 years for assault or battery (§ 541.07(1)), and 4 years for malpractice claims against a health care provider (§ 541.076). Wrongful death claims must be brought within 3 years after death and within 6 years of the act or omission (§ 573.02). Consult local counsel on which SOL applies to specific claim theories.
