Missouri's personal injury SOL is 5 years (RSMo § 516.120) — one of the more generous time limits nationally. Elder abuse claims follow the same 5-year period. Wrongful death claims carry a 3-year SOL (RSMo § 537.100). Missouri's medical malpractice framework (RSMo § 538.210) imposes noneconomic damages caps that may apply to nursing home claims characterized as medical negligence.
