Nebraska operates the Youth Rehabilitation and Treatment Centers (YRTCs) in Kearney and Geneva. The Geneva facility was closed in 2019 after severe abuse and safety failures were documented. Nebraska's SOL for childhood sexual abuse extends to age 30 (12 years after majority).
