The GI court page describes disputed cases and common issues. A separate transfer order concerns NAION eye claims. Neither record is a payment promise to every person who took a listed drug.
No reliable personal amount can be given from these records. Ask what document supports any figure you are shown. A headline cannot value your own loss.
The sources reviewed do not supply an individual payment grid. An announced hearing schedule is about court work, not an award. A current docket and any claim-specific deal still need checking.
The facts, proof and law of your claim matter. A diagnosis or drug purchase alone does not prove a claim. Have your actual losses and records assessed.
The GI court record describes issues that remain disputed. The original Sodhi study abstract reports associations and limits, rather than individual legal causation. It cannot be used as a calculator for a patient’s damages.
Ask for the written fee terms before signing. Check how case costs are paid and deducted. Ask what you would owe if the claim does not succeed.
The ABA model rule describes written contingent-fee terms and expense treatment. It is not the fee agreement of PJ or any receiving firm. Ask for your own contract and an explanation of how a net amount would be worked out.
A court date does not set your payment date. Timing needs the terms and status of your own claim. Ask which steps remain and who must approve them.
The August 2026 GI order scheduled a September hearing. That is a historical schedule, not proof of its outcome or a payout timetable. No latest docket or signed payment schedule has been certified in this package.
An estimate may use facts that do not match your case. Check the drug, injury and court group behind it. Do not plan bills around an unsupported number.
The NAION transfer order concerns a different group from the GI proceedings. The drug study also does not cover every product and injury equally. Mixing case groups or study findings cannot establish your individual recovery.

No settlement has been announced in the GLP-1 MDLs. In general, if a global settlement is reached in a drug MDL, a settlement administrator typically creates a point system based on: injury type and severity, duration of drug use, strength of causation evidence, medical expenses, lost income, and other damages. Each plaintiff receives an individual value based on their points. Higher-severity injuries receive substantially higher payments.
Fee terms are set in your written agreement with the firm. Under ABA Model Rule 1.5, a contingent-fee agreement must be in a writing signed by the client and state how the fee is worked out, including the percentage, the expenses deducted from any recovery and whether they come out before or after the fee is calculated, and any expenses you would owe even if you do not win. Ask for those terms in writing before you sign.
