The short answer

Which Nevro devices do the lawsuits name?
Every case in the group says a Nevro stimulator was implanted and caused harm. The panel’s order names only the HFX iQ. Other lawsuits we read name the Senza, Senza II and Senza Omnia. [3]
Why is Globus Medical named too?
Globus Medical bought Nevro. The deal closed on April 3, 2025, and Nevro became part of Globus. Court papers now call it Nevro LLC. It used to be Nevro Corporation. [17]
Where does the Nevro case stand now?
It has barely started. The court in Oakland opened the case file on October 5, 2026, under number 4:26-md-03195-HSG. The only filing so far is the panel’s order. [18]
Are more Nevro lawsuits being filed?
Yes. Court records show new lawsuits against Nevro in Oklahoma, Wisconsin and California in September and October 2026. We could not read them yet. The panel said more cases are likely. A new case is part of the group only once it is added. [19]

Which Nevro devices do the lawsuits name?

Every case in the group says a Nevro stimulator was implanted and caused harm. The panel’s order names only the HFX iQ. Other lawsuits we read name the Senza, Senza II and Senza Omnia.

Nevro told the panel that two cases are about the HFX iQ and claim a design flaw. The panel kept those cases in the group. An Ohio case in the group names the Senza HFX iQ, model NIPG 3000. FDA lists this unit as IPG3000. That lawsuit says all Nevro models fall under one FDA approval number.

A Maryland case is about a Senza II. A New Mexico case names an Omnia system, and a California case names the Senza Omnia. A South Carolina case calls it the HFX Senza.

FDA records show the first Senza system was approved in May 2015 under number P130022. The Senza HFX iQ was added in October 2022. The newest model, HFX Dynamis, was approved in August 2026, and no lawsuit we read names it.

Why is Globus Medical named too?

Globus Medical bought Nevro. The deal closed on April 3, 2025, and Nevro became part of Globus. Court papers now call it Nevro LLC. It used to be Nevro Corporation.

Most cases name both Nevro and Globus Medical. Some also name the FDA. Your older records or bills may still say Nevro Corporation. The device maker in those papers is the same company.

Where does the Nevro case stand now?

It has barely started. The court in Oakland opened the case file on October 5, 2026, under number 4:26-md-03195-HSG. The only filing so far is the panel’s order.

Judge Haywood S. Gilliam, Jr., runs the case. Twelve Nevro cases were already before him, and the panel sent five more from other courts. We found no schedule, lead lawyers or other orders in the new case yet.

Two earlier rulings give some background. In May 2026, a Maryland judge let most claims in a Senza II case go forward and dismissed one. In February 2026, a New Mexico court dismissed another case but left the door open to fix it.

The panel said it appears the Maryland case had started discovery. That case and the others now move together. The court papers we read set no trial date and announce no settlement.

Are more Nevro lawsuits being filed?

Yes. Court records show new lawsuits against Nevro in Oklahoma, Wisconsin and California in September and October 2026. We could not read them yet. The panel said more cases are likely. A new case is part of the group only once it is added.

The panel can move later cases from other federal courts into the group. It named a Missouri case as one it may add.

Has Nevro had a recall?

We found none. FDA’s recall database lists no recalls by Nevro. Other makers’ stimulators do appear in it.

A search by product type found 96 stimulator recall records from 2005 to 2026, and none named Nevro or Globus. No recall does not decide whether a claim is valid. If you have a problem with your device, tell your doctor.
