What happened
Between March and July 2026, NHTSA opened a series of investigations covering automated driving system crash behavior, FSD collisions in low-visibility conditions, steering knuckle fractures, rear toe link separation, ABS warning lamp issues, and inadvertent air bag deployment, according to NHTSA investigation records.
