What happened
Between April and August 2026, NHTSA opened a series of new investigations into potential vehicle defects, including front steering knuckle fractures, rear toe link separation, lower lateral link detachment, inadvertent air bag deployment, timing belt failure, and engine power loss following recall repairs, according to NHTSA.
