What happened

Between late March and late July 2026, NHTSA opened ten separate safety investigations covering issues such as fuel smell and power loss, ABS warning lights, steering knuckle fractures, automated driving system behavior, rear toe link separation, rental of recalled vehicles, air bag deployment, carry handle separation, lower lateral link detachment, and timing belt failure.
