Alabama's civil SOL for sexual abuse is 6 years (Ala. Code § 6-2-34(a)). The clock begins on the date of the assault. Minority tolling applies — the SOL is suspended until the survivor turns 18. Alabama has not enacted a lookback window. Alabama does not require fingerprint-based background checks for rideshare drivers.
