Statute of Limitations
Arkansas has a 3-year statute of limitations for product liability and personal injury claims (Ark. Code § 16-56-105). The discovery rule applies to latent pharmaceutical injuries. Arkansas courts follow the Daubert standard for expert testimony under Ark. R. Evid. 702. The 3-year period provides Arkansas claimants additional time compared to the 2-year norm in most states.
