Where to File in Florida
Florida AFFF cases can be filed in the circuit court of the county where the plaintiff resides or where the exposure occurred. Major contaminated sites include Patrick SFB (Brevard County), NAS Jacksonville (Duval County), NAS Pensacola (Escambia County), Tyndall AFB (Bay County), Eglin AFB (Okaloosa County), and Homestead ARB (Miami-Dade County). Federal claims are consolidated in MDL 2873 in D.S.C. Multiple Florida communities have identified PFAS in municipal water supplies.
