Statute of Limitations
Iowa imposes a 2-year statute of limitations for personal injury claims (Iowa Code § 614.1). The discovery rule applies in latent pharmaceutical injury cases. Iowa courts follow the Daubert standard for expert testimony under Iowa R. Evid. 5.702. Iowa has a 15-year statute of repose for product liability claims.
