Statute of Limitations
Massachusetts imposes a 3-year statute of limitations for personal injury claims (M.G.L. ch. 260, § 2A). The discovery rule applies. Massachusetts adopted the Daubert standard in 2020 (Commonwealth v. Daubert), replacing the older Lanigan test. Massachusetts's 3-year period provides additional time for GLP-1 claimants compared to the 2-year standard.
