Statute of Limitations
Maine imposes a 6-year statute of limitations for personal injury claims (14 M.R.S.A. § 752). This is one of the longest limitation periods in the nation, providing substantial filing time for GLP-1 claimants. The discovery rule applies. Maine courts follow the Daubert standard for expert testimony under M.R. Evid. 702.
