Michigan video game addiction cases are filed in the circuit court of the county where the plaintiff resides or where the harm occurred. Wayne County Circuit Court (Detroit) handles the largest volume of product liability cases. Oakland and Kent County (Grand Rapids) are also active jurisdictions. Detroit Public Schools Community District is among the institutional plaintiffs in the MDL.
