Statute of Limitations
Minnesota imposes a 6-year statute of limitations for personal injury claims (Minn. Stat. § 541.05). This is one of the longest limitation periods in the nation. The discovery rule applies. Minnesota courts follow the Daubert standard for expert testimony under Minn. R. Evid. 702.
