Nevada Revised Statutes § 41.085 governs wrongful death claims; the 2-year statute of limitations is in NRS § 11.190(4)(e). Non-medical wrongful death cases — including the very significant Las Vegas tourist fatality and vehicle accident market — carry no non-economic cap. Clark County District Court (Las Vegas) handles Nevada's highest volume of wrongful death cases. Las Vegas is a priority market: 42+ million annual visitors generate significant vehicle fatality, pedestrian death, and premises liability wrongful death cases, often involving plaintiffs from other states.
