General court guidance explains that different claims can have different time limits. Give the places and dates for placement, possible injury and later care. Do not treat this page as a calculation of your last filing day.

Does the implant or removal date settle the legal clock?

Those dates need a check but do not answer every claim. A care date does not set the clock for everyone.

FDA describes medical decisions about ongoing clot risk and retrieval, not state filing-limit law. Ask the lawyer to consider the actual care history and when a possible filter problem was discussed.

Do Cook trial work-up dates apply to every new claim?

No. The July 2026 order concerns three chosen cases. Its dates for case work are not a deadline for every new injury claim.

The entered July 14 order sets work-up toward potential Cook Tulip trials and a later conference to choose trial dates. Ask whether a date governs your filed case rather than assuming it applies to every patient.

Did the end of Bard shared proceedings end all claims?

The April 2021 order said some cases would go to other courts. It does not decide a new patient’s time limit or the result of every case.

Settled, dismissed and remanded cases have different histories. Ask a lawyer to inspect any existing case number, dismissal notice or agreement before relying on a statement that the court group ended.

Which records help a deadline review?

Prepare the implant and care dates, with gaps marked. Keep reports and earlier case papers together for the lawyer.

Ask the facility for missing covered health records through its access process. The record rule has exceptions. Preserve what a clinician actually found rather than giving a study headline as your personal diagnosis date.

What should I do while the deadline is checked?

Seek care for the filter concern and ask for legal advice. A study does not set a filing rule or prove what caused your own harm.
